Time to declutter! Stouffville residents are invited to place unwanted items marked ‘FREE’ at the curb for others to take and enjoy!
Place re-usable household items at the curb in front of your home at 7 am on the above date clearly marked with a “FREE” sign.
Use your discretion when deciding whether or not to put items out to the curb. Giveaway items should still be in good condition for re-use or able to be repaired. Keep items you do not want to give away close to your house, or inside to avoid confusion.
Please keep sidewalks and hydrants clear.
Unclaimed items must be removed from the curb by 5 pm. Items left at the curb can result in a By-Law violation.
Consider donating unclaimed items to charitable organizations instead of placing out for waste collection.
Please maintain social distancing and practice safety measures such as sanitizing hands after touching items and cleaning items before using.
Please respect private property and do not walk on people’s lawns or gardens.
Do not block traffic and driveways or park illegally.
Only take items that are marked ‘free’.
