In partnership with Spectrum Home Health Care, the Stouffville 55+ Club will be hosting a Transportation Fair event at 6240 Main St.
The aim of this event is to empower older adults to keep in motion in their community. Speakers for the event will share on a range of topics from balance and fall prevention, public transportation, licensing requirements, and more.
A trade show will allow for relevant community partners to connect with seniors about resources to help them stay active whether they are walking, driving, or ride-sharing.
Carfit Canada will be providing free (pre-booked) clinic assessments for senior drivers with occupational therapists on-site.
A sponsored BBQ will cap off the event for participants.
