Did you know electronics, paint and lighting are banned from curbside collection? Drop off your unwanted electronics, paiting and lights for recycling at our upcoming E-waste, Paint & Lighting Recycling Event at the Whitchurch-Stouffville Operations Centre!

Accepted electronics include:

• Computers & laptops
• Printers & cartridges
• Digital cameras
• Keyboard and mouse
• Cell phones
• Televisions & monitors
• Fax machines
• Audio equipment

Accepted Paint Products (PCA Program):

• Latex & oil-based paint
• Stains & varnishes
• Undercoats & primers 
• Aerosol paints

Not Accepted Paint Products:

• Unlabeled and non-original containers
• Containters with poor integrity (rusted, leaking, improperly sealed)
• Colorants, resins, mineral spirits
• Paint in glass containers
• Paint mixed with other products
• Containers larger than 30 liters or kgs

Accepted Lighting Products (PCA Program):

• Fluorescent tubes & bulbs
• CFL, LED, HID and UHP bulbs
• UV & germicidal bulbs
• Incandescent & halogen bulbs

Not Accepted Lighting Products:

• Streetlights
• Ballasts
• String ights
• Light fixtures
• Lights integrated into a product
